| Have a special place in mind for a special picture? It could be Banff, Kananaskis, Waterton, a ranch, deserted cabin, city or country location, or your own home. We are always happy to go on location, whether outdoors or in. City or close by locations are usually 1/2 to 3/4 day shoots, while further afield locations are typically full day shoots, which may entail hopscotching from one location to another. Where long drives are involved, shoots may be spread out over a couple of days, as was the case when we took 4 lovely young ladies to Waterton National Park one beautiful fall weekend. Since location shoots are generally more expensive than studio shoots, you might consider doubling up with a friend ( or 2 ), to split the additional cost. Cost will vary depending on time involved, gas, and any extraneous expenses incurred, though we try to keep those to a bare minimum. Location shoots may present more technical problems photographically, but are usually the most fun shoots for all concerned, especially at outdoor locations, which , in addition to being fun, can also be very liberating. The fresh air, the scenery, the breeze across your skin, the sense of openness, not being closed in or contained, all contribute to a wonderful sense of being, and consequently, a great overall experience.
